About IRNN

The future direction of IRNN is to:

• Act as a resource for research nurses, allied healthcare professionals and patients.
• Regularly update research nurses on the changing guidelines and laws relating to the conduct of clinical research.
• Serve as a vehicle for advertising research nurse vacancies in the Irish Healthcare system.
• Organise yearly meetings for research nurses to address common concerns and to provide an educational component relevant to the role of the research nurse.

After 3 years, IRNN had achieved some progress with these objectives as well as holding an annual meeting which was invaluable for networking.
