*The following post is on behalf of the Royal College of Nurses’ Research Society*
The RCN Research Society has established a NEW Clinical Research Nurse sub-committee to lead on work specifically relating to clinical research nurses. This is an exciting development at the RCN to raise the profile of clinical research nurses and midwives to champion the issues that really matter this professional group. Please see this blog for a big more information: https://www.rcn.org.uk/news-and-events/blogs/calling-all-clinical-research-nurses
To plan the work programme of the sub-committee there is:
a) a very short questionnaire for you to name your top three priorities -please complete at: https://surveys.rcn.org.uk/s/SX1QW/
b) a fringe event being held at the RCN International Nursing Research conference in Sheffield between 08.00-09.00 on 5th September. To register for the conference and attend the fringe please go to: https://www.rcn.org.uk/news-and-events/events/international-research-conference-030919
Also, if you are an RCN member and want to hear about the developments of the Clinical Research Nurse sub-committee, please join the Research Society (free for RCN members), and choose as your first choice forum, at: https://www.rcn.org.uk/get-involved/forums/research-society
Please pass to your networks as we would like as many people to complete the survey as possible and attend the fringe event to inform the work that the RCN Clinical Research Nurse sub-committee undertake.
