We are a team of researchers from the National University of Ireland, Galway and Trinity College Dublin who are carrying out a research project called The TRAIN study, ‘Training tRial recruiters; An educational INtervention’. The project is funded by the Health Research Board – Trials Methodology Research Network and will design and evaluate an education and training intervention for recruiters to dermatology trials.

As part of the project we are running an online survey to hear from researchers and health practitioners involved in dermatology trials across Ireland and the UK. The survey will seek information about opinions, preferences and potential needs for training and education relating to recruitment to dermatology trials. The information collected in the survey will inform the design and potential content of our education and training intervention. Ethical approval has been granted by the Research Ethics Committee, School of Nursing and Midwifery, Trinity College Dublin.
