The IRNM Annual Conference brings together research teams, investigators, representatives of patient organisations, industry and funding bodies, and invited speakers. This year’s event is a celebration of clinical research and innovation in Ireland, and how clinical research will impact on future healthcare. This year’s theme is ‘‘Yesterday’s Vision, Today’s Research, Tomorrow’s Healthcare’.
Highlights will include the always popular Research Forum, Professor Frank Barry from NUIG, Sandra Galvin from HRB-TMRN, updates on the implications for research based on the changes in Data Protection Regulations, Clinical Trail Regulations and GCP Guidelines and more.
The AGM will be held in the afternoon of Thursday 16th November 2017. After the AGM two Parallel workshops will be held (Informed Consent in Clinical Research & Writing for Publication). We are delighted that Professor Declan Devane, NUIG, has agreed to host the workshop on ‘Writing for Publication’. Following the workshops the IRNM will host a drinks reception and evening meal. Only current (2017) members of the IRNM can register for the AGM and workshops.
